Personalized Assessments

Personalized Assessments

There are a variety of personalized assessments that can help you achieve the insight you need to increase your leadership effectiveness.  Depending on your goals, participation in a particular assessment may help you gain the insight you need to move forward.  If getting developmental feedback is important to you, then an opportunity to participate in a 360 feedback process may be a part of our work together.

Each of the online assessments below comes with a full-colour printed report and two to three hours of debrief and follow up coaching to help you fully understand your results and put an action plan in place to help you move forward.  I would welcome the opportunity to help you learn more about yourself and your effectiveness as a leader through the use of any of these assessments.

Talk to me about using these tools in a team development capacity to help your team increase their effectiveness through learning about each other.

The Leadership Circle

This amazing tool is focused at helping high performing leaders increase their leadership effectiveness and achieve greater success. As a successful leader you have a proven track record and established success in your career.  However, you have received feedback or are getting the sense that there may be behaviours that are preventing you from achieving the results you want. More than just a competency based 360 tool, the Leadership Circle Profile is designed to accelerate leadership effectiveness by simultaneously providing focused competency feedback while revealing the underlying assumptions that are causing a pattern of strengths and limitations. The Leadership Circle Profile helps leaders understand the relationship between how they habitually think, how they behave, and, more importantly, how all this impacts their current level of leadership effectiveness. Once this awareness is established, leadership development can proceed. Without it, change rarely happens.

Myers-Briggs Test

One of the oldest and most widely used assessments in the world, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) helps you understand your personality preferences and how you demonstrate them in the world of work and life.

You may be curious about why you seem to speak a different language than your colleagues, or have a strong need to do things differently than other folks. By understanding your own personality preferences, and the differences you see in others, you are better able to manage relationships, address conflicts, and choose the career and activities that leave you energized and fulfilled.

Self-awareness is the first step to realizing your potential.

Emotional intelligence

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.  How emotionally intelligent we are can be a predictor of success in life and work. Though awareness and intentional practice to change behavior we can learn to be more emotionally intelligent.

An EQ-I 360 feedback tool is available in addition to the individual assessment.

Suite Of Assessments

This suite of assessments helps you to understand your Motivational Value System, Strengths, and Overdone Strengths. We all have values that determine the kinds of activities we choose to participate in, our behaviors, and how we demonstrate our strengths in the workplace and life. We also are susceptible to overusing our strengths which can be perceived negatively by others. Developing an understanding of our own motivations, how our need for self-worth determines our behaviors and the impact we have on others can help individuals and teams understand each other and work more effectively together.
